FLVS and Agilix have created a solution to combine FLVS content delivered on the Agilix BrainHoney platform.  The solution is “Learning Continuity” which can include supplemental classroom use and/or primary classroom use.

Learning Continuity

The Learning Continuity solution will provide FLVS content on the BrainHoney platform hosted by Agilix in case of school closures due to unforeseen forces as well as access to FLVS content as primary and supplemental course instruction.  The following definitions shall apply to this solution:

Definitions

  • A teacher is defined as an employee of the licensing school / district who teaches in a middle or high school capacity.
  • A student is defined as being registered in the licensing school / district and meeting the attendance criteria of that entity.
  • A virtual student is defined as a student regardless of location or registration issues, enrolled in an online virtual course.
  • A section, for accounting purposes only, is less than forty (40) students
  • Supplemental classroom use is defined as supplemental to curriculum which has already been purchased and implemented by the licensing school / district
  • Primary Instructional Curriculum is defined as FLVS courseware that is used by the Teacher in the licensing school / district as the primary source of curriculum
  • Learning Continuity use is defined as access to the curriculum for a specific period of time as the primary source of instruction AND students are not attending the licensing school / district as normal.

Learning Continuity Program

  • The Learning Continuity Program fee is tiered based on the number of middle and high school Teachers in the licensing entity. Email sales@brainhoney.com to learn more.

Packages include:

  • Year-long access for Teachers and Students to online course content for Supplemental Classroom Use
  • Up to 21 consecutive calendar day web-based access for Students in the case of a Disaster or Pandemic Situation.
  • Proof of a disaster or pandemic must be provided

Upgrades:

  • Licensing Entity may upgrade a Student to a Virtual Student based on a per enrollment fee.   Bundles of 50 enrollments will receive 5% discount, 100 enrollments will receive 10% discount, and 200 enrollments will receive 15% discount from the prices listed above when licensed at the same time as the Learning Continuity Program.
  • Licensing Entity may upgrade Supplemental Classroom Use to Primary Instructional Curriculum based on a per Section fee.
  • Licensing Entity may upgrade Supplemental Classroom Use to a Perpetual Course license at the then prevailing FLVS pricing.
  • Upgrade to full administrative capabilities on the BrainHoney platform, including branding, integration, mass enrollment, reports, admin dashboard, data, and all administrative functionalities is available at an additional 40% of the Package Pricing.

Additional Details:

  • There are no refunds once a Student is enrolled in a course.
  • Agilix is responsible for all platform specific issues including registration of Teachers and Students. 
  • FLVS will provide eTeacher’s Guides as a course on BrainHoney for any courses purchased through the Learning Continuity solution
  • Agilix will automatically enroll Teachers in a course designed to help new users teach on the platform.  From time to time, Agilix will conduct free webinars as well.  Additional teacher training options are available from your local reseller. 
  • Course materials will be identified for each course and are the responsibility of the licensee.
  • Courses included in this program will change over time.  A current listing of courses is provided at the end of this document.
  • Help desk support is available via Agilix; defined as 1-business day email support for the named administrator to the account.  FLVS will be responsible for resolving any content related issues.  Agilix will be responsible for supporting the Agilix platform and hosting environment.  Any platform related issues reported to FLVS will be forwarded to Agilix for resolution.
